This is Cynthia Peterson (Parents as Teacher's Parent Educator) from way back when. I can't believe you're still at the Crisis Center! I came across an article in the Lompoc Record that had quotes from an interview your provided about child abuse in Lompoc. It's funny because I am in Virginia and work for a child welfare organization that has a subscription service that highlights child welfare news around the world. This article just happened to be featured and there you were. I hope all is well with you and your family. Please feel free to email me.

I wanted to inform your agency that you can download the entire book, absolutely free of charge, at http://www.resurrectionafterrape.org. On that site you can also download (and freely distribute) other booklets such as "A man's guide to helping a woman who has been raped" and "A parent's guide to helping a daughter who has been raped." You do not have subscribe to anything, enter any email address, or buy anythingâ??they are purely free.
"Resurrection After Rape" describes a new approach to treating rape trauma that is receiving phenomenal feedback from survivors and professional colleagues.
Please take a look, enjoy your free copy, and I hope it is helpful in your work.
